Lucan Lions Annual BBQ For Team James

Perhaps the most important local social event of the summer, the Lucan Lions County Colours BBQ takes place this Friday, June 10th.  This year will be the ninth year of this now annual event which takes place in with the support of Lucan Sarsfields GAA club.

Two hundred GAA fans will be in attendance, wearing their home jerseys.  Proceeds from the evening will go to TEAM JAMES for Barretstown Camp.
Each year Lucan Lions have a Sports Star Interview, where guests (2 or 3) are interviewed on stage for approximately thirty minutes.  This is mostly a light-hearted, “stories from the dressing room” kind of thing.
The barbeque will be run by local chefs.  Music and entertainment will follow.  A fun night is guaranteed – and for a really great cause.
Enquiries for tickets can be made by texting  0874540026 to reserve tickets.

Barretstown offers free, medically endorsed camps and programmes that are designed for children and their families living with cancer and serious illness – all supported behind the scenes by 24 hour onsite medical and nursing care.
